Sam Smith Has a Naughty Tagline if He Were a Real Housewife

On Tuesday’s appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Sam Smith sat in the club house sipping a drink and spilling T when a question from a caller came toward Sam—and the answer made my glasses fog up!

The 25-year-old singer who claims to be a fan of the Real Housewives franchise was asked what his tagline would be if he were a housewife of any city.

After WWHL host Andy Cohen reminded him of some famous taglines, Sam said that his monumental tagline would be none other than “I’m a dick monster.”

Yes please!

Andy was quick to get down to the bottom of that answer by asking for the definition and Sam so cutely and responded “Well you just like, hunt for the dick”—spoken like a TRUE dick monster. A response that made even the legendary Patti LaBelle break a sweat!

If Sam were a housewife with that tagline, I wonder what object he’d be holding in the show’s opening sequence?

Check out his naughty response here:

In fact, you can already buy tickets to his concerts in cities like Glasgow, Dublin Berlin, Milan, Toronto, Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Nashville, Miami, Mexico City, Portland, and many more.

Sam Smith Talked About His Boyfriend For The First Time

Sam Smith confirmed he is in a relationship (though, he didn’t specifically name 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn whom we suspect is the boy in question).

The singer is making the rounds to promote his upcoming album The Thrill of it All and it seems that joy is radiating in Smith as he talked about his relationship with Ellen DeGeneres.

The comedian and talk show host asked Smith, ”You’re not single right now anymore, right?" and he replied "No, I’m not.”

“Which is crazy. It’s weird bringing out an album and not being single. Because when I brought out In the Lonely Hour I was so lonely. But now I’m singing songs about another guy, I’m quite happy, so it’s quite weird.”

This comes just after he revealed he’s not so bothered by gender norms and stereotypes.

Sam Smith Released A New Single Called "Pray"

Sam Smith is gearing up for the release of his latest EP by dropping more songs.

While everyone’s’ talking about the British singer’s new beau, 13 Reasons Why actor Brandon Flynn, Smith himself is preparing for the gradual drop of more of his music.

While his upcoming EP, The Thrill of it All, is scheduled to come out November 3, Sam Smith has just released remixes for his “Too Good At Goodbyes” single and a new single titled “Pray.”

While the song would appear uptempo, it’s lyrics and source are nothing to be happy about.

In an interview with Billboard, Smith said that “Pray” was influenced by his trip to Iraq with the charity War Child.

“I spent five days in Mosul and came back embarrassed that I had known so little about the world and other people’s lives,” he admits.

“I went back to that great Nina Simone quote, that it is important to speak about the times you live in. I hadn’t done that; I’d just written a bunch of songs about love. So I wanted to write about how I’m now starting to open my eyes, at 25, to what is going on in the rest of the world, and that it’s not always pretty.”

You can listen to “Pray” and the “Too Good At Goodbyes” remixes down below.

Move Over Lady Gaga, Sam Smith Wanted A Gay Version of "A Star Is Reborn" First

Sam Smith is gearing up for a return to the spotlight with his new album expected to come out sometime before Christmas.

Plus, the music video for his single “Too Good At Goodbyes” just came out too.

But, what we’re here to talk to you about in this post is a project of his that will never see the light of day.

Sam Smith admitted that he almost pitched his idea for starring in a gay version of A Star is Reborn, but sadly Lady Gaga got to it first.

Smith spoke to Attitude Magazine and confessed that he once worked with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli to make that dream a reality. They were in Mexico for the premiere of SPECTRE when they got the idea "to pitch the studio a gay rework of A Star is Born."

The film A Star is Reborn is a film that’s had multiple adaptions and remakes. Originally, it started in 1937 before being remade in 1954 (the version most are familiar with, which starred Judy Garland), a 1976 version with Barbara Streisand, and now a 2018 version which will star Lady Gaga.

Smith was hoping to make a new version of the film but shift it to have a gay male lead.

"We were drunk, and at that point, unaware that [Lady] Gaga was redoing it anyway," Sam recalled. "We had it all worked out. I wanted to [sing] 'The Man that Got Away.'"

While “The Man That Got Away” is a song that was sung in Judy Garland’s version of the film, Smith states that his version would have been similar to the plots of Steisand’s 1976 remake (and coincidentally Gaga’s as well).

Then, when asked who he would have liked to play opposite him as the male celebrity whose career is on the decline (which will be played by Bradly Cooper in the 2018 version), Sam Smith said he would have liked it to be…

“Ryan Gosling!" he said. "I met him once and he shook my hand. It was like meeting Hercules.  He's beautiful."

Unfortunately, Sam Smith wasn’t quick enough to pitch the movie (or perhaps only meant it as a drunken idea). And now we might never get to see his gay version of A Star is Born.

But at least we got to enjoy the idea of it.

Sam Smith’s New Music Video is Out

The British singer has been missing somewhat in the past year or so, but that’s assumably to prepare for his latest comeback.

Smith’s debut LP, In the Lonely Hour, came out back in 2014. Then, after making the rounds with his music from that, he went on to create and win an Oscar in 2015 for “Writings on the Wall,” the theme song to Bond’s SPECTRE.

And now it seems he’s ready to come out with a new LP which he says will drop sometime before Christmas.

In the meantime, we get to enjoy his first single from the currently untitled LP.

“Too Good at Goodbyes” is a smooth ballad that Smith himself says came from a deep and personal place.

"This song is about me and about a relationship I was in," he said. "This album actually is not all about me. There's about four songs that are about me, and the rest are about different things and different people in my life and what they've gone through."

We told you about the release date and name of the song, but now we can finally give you a video to go with it.

But that’s not all the news on the matter. Investigative fans have discovered what’s most likely the name of the single as well.

You see, PPLUK is a music registration site, and Sam Smith has a new title under his name. The title is “Too Good At Goodbyes” and fans are guessing that’s the name of his upcoming single. Plus, the lyrics site Genius also has this new song under Smith’s name (though, there aren’t any lyrics attached yet).

Of course, the official name of the song hasn’t been confirmed yet, but all this investigative work has got fans pretty excited. And, we won’t have to wait long to find out if they were right, because the single will release in just a week.

Excited yet?
